Oxford English Dictionary 2nd Edition on CD-ROM There are now three releases of the OED version 3.1. To identify which version you have, check the Copyright date shown on the Install and Data CDs. For Release 1 of the OED, the Copyright date on the disks will show 2004 only. For Release 2 of the OED, the Copyright date shown will be 2004, 2005. The latest release, OED 3.1.1, is labeled 3.1.1 on the disk and also has a Copyright date of 2004, 2005, 2007. This final release is the latest OED version, and is also Vista compatible, and eliminates conflicts with the hotfix.
