5: Error message - “Cannot create application object”

This error occurs when trying to open the Who's Who program usually if the shortcut being used is not pointing to the same path as when the original Who's Who installation took place. During the installation, the path to the program and database is stored in the Registry. If for some reason the path has changed, e.g. using a different mapped network drive for the network version, then the above error message appears because the new path does not match the one stored in the Registry. This problem can be fixed by either returning the path to its original setting, or reinstalling the Who's Who program.
