Biosciences Student Panel

The Student Panel is now accepting applications!

What is the OUP biosciences student panel?

Our biosciences student panel is made up of students from the UK and Republic of Ireland currently studying for bioscience-related degrees. We're currently looking for new applicants. Students from any year of any bioscience-related degree are eligible.

Why does OUP have a biosciences student panel?

OUP publishes a wide range of student-focused biosciences textbooks. The student panel allows us to gather feedback and opinions on our products from real biosciences students, ensuring order new titles and new editions really meet your needs.

What will being on a student panel involve?

You will be contacted, mainly via email, and expected to:

* complete 4 - 5 online surveys a year
* review and offer opinions on new publishing ideas

In addition you may be invited to attend a focus group with students from other universities or undertake telephone interviews.

Students should be prepared to sign up as a representative for the remainder of their degree course.

How will I be rewarded?

As a participating student you will be given £150 worth of OUP books of your choice, paid in two £75 instalments across the year. This book allowance will be added to your student rep account, to claim as and when you need it.

From time to time you may be invited to take part in research projects that will take up more of your time, for which additional reward MAY be offered. Please note, if you are invited to attend a focus group all travel and other expenses will be reimbursed.
