What is the OUP student law panel?

A panel made up of students nationwide currently studying law.

We'd like to select one student rep from each year, from each institution.

Why does OUP have a student law panel?

As the leading publisher in legal textbooks it is important that our products meet your needs.

We hope to develop our products further by gathering feedback and opinions from students across the country.

What will being on a student panel involve?

You will be contacted, mainly via email, and expected to:

  • complete 4 - 5 e-surveys a year
  • review and offer opinions on new publishing ideas

In addition you may be called upon to attend a focus group with students from other universities or undertake telephone interviews.

Students should be prepared to sign up as a representative for one calendar year, but preferably for the duration of their course. As such, you will remain on the panel until you graduate or request to leave.

How will I be rewarded?

As a participating student you will be rewarded in credits for each task that you complete. The number of credits available for each task will be made clear at the point of circulation. Each credit is worth £5 and can be redeemed on any OUP books of your choice.

Whilst most credits are awarded for the completion of e-surveys, additional credits can be gained for tasks such as submitting a comprehensive book review or taking part in more time-consuming research projects. Please note that if you are invited to attend a focus group all travel and other expenses will be reimbursed.
