Have your say on the future of nursing education materials - join OUP's student nursing panel today, and get your hands on up to £150 worth of OUP books per academic year.

What is the OUP student nursing panel?

The student nursing panel is made up of students from the UK and Republic of Ireland, who are currently studying nursing at university. The criteria are simple – we take on students from each nursing branch, in each academic year.

What do I have to do?

Students joining the panel will mainly act as nursing brand ambassadors for OUP. This will involve reviewing and offering opinions on new publishing ideas, attending focus groups, completing questionnaires to allow us to improve our nursing books, and carrying out small tasks such as displaying posters around campus.

If you are happy to act as a brand ambassador by carrying out small tasks for us in order to receive up to £150 worth of books, then apply today for a place on the panel!

From time to time you may be invited to take part in research projects that will take up more of your time, for which additional credits may be offered.

What are the perks?

As a participating student you will be rewarded with up to £150 worth of OUP books of your choice, depending on your level of involvement. *

Joining the panel will also work wonders for your CV and will allow you to widen your nursing circle of friends by meeting new students from all different years.

* As tasks are completed, you will gain credits which build up your book allowance – the more you do, the more credits you earn. This book allowance will be added to your student rep account, to claim as and when you need it.

How much involvement is required?

Once you have been selected, you will have the option to be a part of the panel until your final year of study – however, if after joining you find that you are unable to be involved with as many tasks as you imagined due to time constraints, that's no problem, just let us know. For as long as you want to be a part of the panel, we want you to be involved.

After university, you will also have the opportunity to join the graduate nursing panel, and carry on receiving more perks!

When you do eventually leave the panel, we'd appreciate it if you could help us find a replacement from the lower years for your position, so we can keep the quality of the panel as high as possible from year to year.
