Online Support

Online Resource Centres are available for many of our textbooks; they provide lecturers with valuable teaching support and help students to continue their learning outside the lecture hall.

Look for the Online Resource Centre logo on book covers, marketing materials and the website to find out if your textbook has additional resources.

Alternatively, visit the Online Resource Centre homepage to browse the resources available, to view a demonstration, and find out if the textbooks your are interested in are supported with online resources.

Interact with your textbook

The content on each site is developed to complement, and be used alongside, the textbook it links to. Online Resource Centres are an essential part of our publishing, offering students the chance to be more in control of their learning.

If contact time is limited, or students are distance learners, the resources offer a vital method of self-testing, self-checking progress and receiving structured guidance away from the lecturer.

Visit the Online Resource Centre demo area to see and try examples of the many resources available.

How we can help

Our team of campus representatives will be happy to demonstrate the resources to you, either on an informal basis at your desk, or once you have chosen to adopt a textbook with online resources, they can provide a demonstration to the whole teaching team, and even the students, to ensure you all get the most out the textbook and resources.

"The online resources are an important tool for supporting students’ independent learning... The online resources give students better control of their learning and encourage them to think about what they have read in the book and how it links to the course they are studying... the training session (provided by OUP) opened their eyes to a whole set of useful resources which are available to them."
Dr Natasha Semmens, Lecturer in Criminology, University of Sheffield

Contact your representative directly if you would like to find out more about having an online demo, or would like to be put in touch with other lecturers who are intergrating the online resources into their teaching already. Find your campus representative here
