GP Focus Groups

Oxford University Press is inviting GPs to contribute their knowledge to research influencing the academic and clinical resources of the future.

GPs interested in the resources used for both training and clinical practice are invited to attend a focus group in our headquarters in Oxford.

Our main aim is to assess how we can develop resources which are relevant to your experience and needs, and to learn how to effectively reach the GP on the ground. We wish to hear GPs’ opinions on issues as diverse as local funding, how you get materials into your surgery, attitudes to sponsorship, and the availability and quality of those resources which are needed and recommended for patients.

We would like to offer an honorarium of £100-worth of OUP books for each attendee. We will also be glad to refund travel expenses of up to £30.

Dates:
We ask that you attend a focus group on one of the following dates:
Wednesday, 10th March
Thursday, 11th March
Friday, 19th March

If you wish to take a place in one of these groups, please send your details to Andrew Sandland using the contact information below. Please indicate whether you can take part in a morning, afternoon or evening session on the given dates.

There are limited places available, and so confirmation, in addition to further details, will be sent on as soon as possible in advance of your group date.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like further information or if you would like to be involved in future research.
