Police Book ProposalsSubmitting a book proposal for the police marketFor all book proposals which have the police as their principal target audience, please contact the Senior Commissioning Editor, Peter Daniell Alternatively, please submit a proposal to Lindsey Davis
Oxford University Press The proposal should contain the following information:
Please also include the CVs of all authors and contributors setting out their experience and details of any previous writing projects they have been involved in. What happens to your proposal? The Editor will respond within a week to let you know whether or not your proposal might in principle be suitable for publication by OUP. If so, the proposal will be sent out for review (after refinement if necessary). All publishing proposals must pass successfully through a peer-review process (the papers are sent in confidence to expert practitioners for their advice on its suitability for publication by OUP). If the peer-reviewers are supportive of publication, the proposal must then be formally approved by the OUP Board of Delegates before a publishing contract can be offered. You will be asked to respond to any questions or comments made by peer-reviewers before the papers are put to the Delegates for approval. If you find any broken links, please e-mail telling us the site, and link. |
