Jonathan Pitkin

Pitkin Born in 1978, Jonathan Pitkin studied music at Christ Church, Oxford, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Paris Conservatoire. His compositions, which include works for choir, orchestra, chamber ensemble, and brass have been performed by, among others, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Singers, and programmed by the Huddersfield and Spitalfields Festivals. A number of his pieces have also been broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Jonathan Pitkin was awarded the inaugural Temple Church Composition Prize in 2001.
