Kerry Andrew studied composition to PhD level at the University of York and her music is infused with elements of world music, jazz, folk and pop. She won the Temple Church Choir Composition Prize in 2002 and performers of her work have included the Hilliard Ensemble, John Potter, and Jane Manning. Her compositions have been heard on BBC Radio 3 and at festivals including the York Spring Festival and the BMIC's Cutting Edge series. She sings with the contemporary vocal trio Juice, who give vibrant, theatrical multimedia performance, including her own large-scale music-theatre work, sedna stories.
