Hire Library - Cancellation Policy
- If an order is placed and subsequently cancelled, before the material is dispatched, then no cancellation fee will apply.
- If an order is placed and dispatched correctly to order, but the customer then notifies us of the cancellation of performance and returns the material before the originally stated performance date, a cancellation fee (i.e. a hire fee) of 20% of the proposed hire fee (or the minimum hire fee applicable, whichever is the greater), plus dispatch at normal rates will apply. (If the full hire fee has already been invoiced then, in these circumstances, Oxford University Press will credit 80% of the invoice, leaving 20% [or the minimum fee] + dispatch as payable).
- If an order is placed and dispatched correctly to order, and the customer then notifies us of the cancellation of the performance and/or returns the material after the originally stated performance date as a 'cancellation', the full hire fee plus dispatch at normal rates will apply.
- For the BBC and commercial recordings, special arrangements for cancellation apply, and these are written in to the relevant agreements.
Hire Library - Changes to invoices
- If an invoice is dispatched correctly to order, but the customer requests a change to the information given, an administration fee will apply.
