Five Meditations for orchestra are all based on choral works. What Sweeter Music and Candlelight were originally Christmas carols; Blow Blow thou winter wind a setting Shakespeare�s famous poem from �As You Like It�; Lord Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace an anthem to the St. Francis of Assissi text; and The Lord Bless You and Keep You a simple choral benediction.
