In our hire catalogue we have the instrumental accompaniments to virtually all of the traditional Christmas carols, along with many other popular festive gems by composers such as John Rutter, Sir David Willcocks, and Bob Chilcott. We also have available on hire a number of orchestral works specifically written or arranged with Christmas concerts in mind.

Christmas orchestral works
Oxford University Press has recently published a sparkling range of new and approachable orchestral works, perfect for any Christmas concert. From suites of your favourite carols to new arrangements of classic Christmas works, these are all now available to hire from Music Hire Library.

Christmas choral works
Available this Christmas from Oxford University Press is the accessible Christmas cantata Christus Natus Est by Cecilia McDowall. It is available for orchestra or brass ensemble and details can be found here.
McDowall gives the familiar melodies a colourful new harmonic treatment, and the arrangements range in atmosphere from tenderness to joyful exaltation.

Also in the Music Hire Library is Bob Chilcott's richly expressive cantata And Peace on Earth, which sets five discrete texts, each reflecting a different aspect of Christmastide.
With accompaniment for small ensemble, this is very approachable and a huge joy to sing, this is an absolute must for Christmas concerts.

Christmas carol orchestrations
We now have in excess of 310 carol orchestrations to suit any taste; from spicy Spanish rhythms to a medley of favourites! We also have new orchestrations of traditional carols suitable for almost any size of orchestra or brass ensemble.
