Welcome to the After School Club website

After School Club books - what's it all about?
It may only look like an old mobile hut stuck at the back of the school playground, but for the kids who go there it's a special place-somewhere to escape to, somewhere to have a laugh, somewhere to meet your mates. And you get a really mixed crowd there too-like Brody, the child model, and Sammie, who just needs to get away for a couple of hours. But most of all it's a place they feel they can belong, away from the hassle of school, teachers, home, and families.

On our website you'll find loads of stuff to keep you busy. There's an interview with the brains behind the books, Helena Pielichaty, and an activities section for you to print out and enjoy. And we've even put bits of the stories on line so you can get a sneak preview of what's in store! We'll add extracts of forthcoming books later on in the year so keep your eyes open!
