Did you know that there are more shipwrecks off our coastline than any other part of the world?

It's partly because some stretches of our coast are very rocky. But often the rocks are hidden just below the sea's surface.

It's also because we're an island with a great maritime history. Many ships have sailed through our waters. Sadly, not all have made it home.
